Fresh Wild Romanian Blueberries – Premium Forest Superfruit in Season

Take advantage of fresh wild Romanian blueberries during their peak months – June, July, and August.

Wild blueberries are excellent when fresh, easy to freeze, and among the healthiest superfoods you can consume.

Blueberry harvesting starts in the early hours of the morning, as soon as the dew has lifted from the fruit. The picked berries are sorted, packed in crates, and kept chilled until they are handed over to the courier. The crates are delivered in the evening, directly to the courier’s depot, about one hour before departure to the destination address. Transport takes place overnight so that the berries reach you as fresh as possible, on average within 16–18 hours of being harvested.

Consumption – fresh wild Romanian blueberries:

– Do not rinse blueberries under high-pressure water, as the pressure can damage them; instead, submerge them in a bowl of cold water and rinse gently; allow the water to drain afterward

– Fresh blueberries can be eaten as they are, added to breakfast cereals, fruit salads as toppings, or blended into smoothies and milkshakes, fresh or frozen

Storage – wild blueberries:

Since our blueberries are fresh and delivered quickly, they can be stored in the refrigerator for 2–3 weeks without any loss of taste, aroma, or pulp consistency. For longer periods, we recommend freezing them. Once frozen, blueberries can be stored indefinitely.

Keep blueberries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. You can place them in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before consumption to enhance their flavor.
